Ask for the deposit amount, accepted card requirements, release process and the timing your card issuer may need. A low daily rate does not mean there is no deposit.
Mileage & travel plans
Tell us if you plan to visit another Emirate. Confirm the included kilometres, excess-kilometre rate and permitted-use area for the booked rate.
Changes, cancellations & returns
Check cancellation deadlines, no-show terms, late-return charges and any after-hours arrangement before accepting the reservation.

Dubai car rental for visitors from India and Pakistan
Arrange an International Driving Permit before travel where required, and carry it with your original national licence. Share the licence-issuing country and your UAE entry status before booking. If you live in the UAE, resident licence requirements apply instead of tourist rules.
Car hire in Dubai for UK and European visitors
For travellers from the United Kingdom, Germany, France and other European markets, a pre-arrival document check helps clarify whether the original national licence is sufficient. Ask about family seating, luggage space and your expected route before choosing a car. Recognition rules can differ by issuing country and status.
Arriving from Saudi Arabia, Oman and the wider GCC
Provide your GCC driving-licence details and visa status for checking. Hiring a car within the UAE does not automatically authorise taking it across a border. If your plans include another country, ask about permission and insurance before confirming.
Visiting Dubai from Russia or China
Share the country that issued your licence and whether you will visit or reside in the UAE. Confirm any permit or translation requirement before your flight. Do not assume that a licence-exchange arrangement for residents is the same as a visitor rental rule.
Planning a Dubai rental from the USA or Canada
Check your collection time in UAE local time and allow for flight arrival procedures. Confirm your original licence, payment card, damage protection and mileage before you travel. Any protection from a card issuer or overseas insurance policy should be checked for its actual UAE rental coverage.

Can tourists rent a car in Dubai?
Visitors can apply with a valid passport, entry-status documentation and an eligible driving licence. An International Driving Permit may also be required. Carry the original national licence with any IDP; the permit is not a standalone licence.
Can UAE residents rent a car with a foreign licence?
UAE residents need a valid UAE driving licence. The rules for a visitor using an overseas licence do not automatically continue after becoming a resident.
Do I need an International Driving Permit?
It depends on your licence-issuing country, visa status and the applicable UAE rules. Some foreign licences are recognised for visitors. Send the issuing country and your visitor or resident status for checking before you commit to a booking.
What is the minimum rental age?
Check the driver-age and licence-experience requirement displayed for the selected vehicle. Some vehicle groups and insurers apply higher requirements. Ask the team before paying if you are a young driver or have recently obtained your licence.
Is Dubai airport collection available?
Ask for a Dubai International Airport rental quote and provide your flight and terminal. The team must confirm the collection arrangement, meeting point and any charge in writing. A booking enquiry does not imply an in-terminal counter or approved airport access.
Are Salik, fuel and parking included?
Do not assume they are included. Review tolls, parking, fuel, fines and any disclosed administration charges separately from the rental price. The confirmed rate and agreement set out the applicable charges.
Can I drive to Oman or take the vehicle off-road?
Do not take the vehicle across a border or off-road unless YORK PRIME has expressly authorised the use and confirmed the required insurance and permissions in writing. An SUV is not automatically approved for dune driving.
Can I reserve an exact model?
An enquiry can specify a preferred model, but only the written confirmation establishes whether a named model or a vehicle category is reserved. Illustrations on this page are category guides, not live stock.
